submit-Tropical Cyclone Hermine drew nearer to the tri-state area early Sunday morning, bringing with it the possibility of extended excessive winds and heavy storm surge on the coasts.

Coastal Queens, The Bronx, Westchester, Nassau and Fairfield countires have been at roughly a 90 % possibility of getting as a minimum 3 ft of storm surge.

Rain is expected to be less of an issue with this storm.
